Univision names Pedrosa-Guanche SVP of Corporate Communications

March 8, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision has hired Beatriz Pedrosa-Guanche as the company’s new SVP of Corporate Communications, effective March 15.

She takes over the post left vacant by Bobby Amirshahi in November 2020.

Based in Miami, she will help lead Univision’s corporate, financial and internal communications and handle its media, government and community relations efforts.

Most recently, Pedrosa-Guanche founded Mass A’Peel, a strategic marketing firm, where she led all aspects of her clients’ communications strategies.

Prior to founding her own company, she was Head of Communications for Apple Latin America.

Until a permanent replacement is found for Rosemary Mercedes, who resigned as EVP and Chief Communications Officer, Pedrosa-Guanche will be interim communications lead partnering with Julissa Bonfante, Yvette Pacheco, and Univision President Pierluigi Gazzolo.
