FOX Weather hires Nicole Valdes as correspondent for new streaming service

August 23, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

FOX Weather has hired Nicole Valdes as a field correspondent for FOX News Media’s new AVOD streaming weather service, scheduled to launch this fall.

She starts the new job in September, based in Nashville.

When the new streaming service starts, she’ll be doing breaking news coverage on developing weather events.

Valdes leaves Phoenix, where she was a reporter and fill-in anchor at Scripps-owned station KNXV ABC15 since 2018.

A Miami native, Valdes previously covered hurricanes and other major weather events as a multi-media journalist for CBS affiliate WINK-TV in Fort Myers, Florida.
