Alex Roland joins Telemundo network

October 5, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Former longtime Univision reporter Alex Roland has started a new job as a Telemundo network correspondent for morning show “Hoy Día,” based in Miami.

He made his on-air debut on Monday, October 4.

Roland left WXTV Univision 41 in January, after spending almost 19 years as a reporter and anchor at the New York station. He was also a contributor for Univision’s network newscast.

At the time of his departure, he cited personal reasons for relocating to Miami.

Prior to Univision, he worked as a reporter in several news outlets in his native Colombia.
