Ángel Sepúlveda lands at Canela Media

October 25, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Ángel Sepúlveda has landed a new job as Head of Industry and Talent Relations at Canela Media, a new digital media company that owns streaming service Canela TV.

He’ll be based in Miami.

Sepúlveda was recently laid off from Entravision, where he was regional news director for the Orlando and Tampa Bay stations operated by the company. Earlier this month, Univision announced it was ending the affiliate deal with Entravision and taking over operations of its stations.

Prior to Entravision, he was a digital, entertainment and live events consultant for Telemundo network.

He was VP of Programming for Terra U.S. Hispanic and Latin America, where he oversaw the original content programming department from 2007 to 2010.

Sepúlveda previously spent three years as Director of Original Programming for AOL Latino.
