David Urías starts new job at Univision Dallas

November 1, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

David Urías has started a new job as a multimedia journalist at KUVN Univision 23 Dallas.

He’ll be reporting for the station’s weekday newscasts.

He makes his on-air debut today.

Urías arrives from California’s Univision 19 Sacramento, where he worked for the past five years as an MMJ and weekend anchor and producer.

He previously worked as a freelance reporter at L.A.’s KVEA Telemundo 52 from October 2014 to February 2016.

Urías started his journalism career in his native El Salvador in 2008 as an editor for Megavisión. A year later, he stepped in front of the camera as a news reporter, eventually becoming an anchor. He stayed at Megavisión until 2014, when he made the move to the U.S.
