Univision launches 24/7 news streaming channel

December 2, 2021 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision officially launched “Noticias Univision 24/7,” a news streaming channel on PrendeTV.

The newly launched channel features live news, original lifestyle content, opinion, and information programming curated for Spanish-speaking audiences in digital and mobile friendly formats.

The new programming includes:

  • “La Voz de la Mañana” – Monday through Friday 7 to 9 am ET. Carolina Sarassa, Paulina Sodi and Maity Interiano are the morning show’s hosts.
  • “Noticias Univision 24/7” Daytime – Every day from 1 to 3 pm ET. Andrea Linares and Borja Voces are the hosts of this daily live newscast.
  • “Noticias Univision 24/7” Primetime – Every day from 7 to 9 pm ET. Aylen del Toro and Carolina Rosario present the most relevant news of the day with commentary from anchors and reporters from across Univision’s local, national and international news divisions.

“Noticias Univision 24/7” also presents the local editions of “Edición Digital” from New York and Los Angeles, as well as excerpts of Univision programs “Despierta América,” “Primer Impacto” and “El Gordo y La Flaca.”

Univision execs say the launch is a strategic investment that bolsters the company’s expansion of its news portfolio and digital operations.
