Noe Gonzalez

Noe González returns to Telemundo Arizona as VP of News

January 20, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Noe González has been named VP of News of Telemundo Arizona.

He’ll oversee news operations for stations KTAZ Telemundo 39 and KHRR Telemundo 40.

He’ll replace Mike Gaytán, who left the station in December to become VP of News KUAN Telemundo 20 San Diego.

González’s first day at Telemundo Arizona will be January 31.

An Emmy-award winning journalist, he is currently news director at Telemundo Utah, a role he’s held since July 2019.

His last day at Telemundo Utah is Friday, January 28.

González rejoins Telemundo Arizona, where he started his news career as a photojournalist in 2005.

During his 14 years at the station, he was also a reporter and line producer, before getting promoted to assistant news director in 2017.
