Telemundo 48 hires Carlos Armando Cabrera as MMJ

January 4, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Carlos Armando Cabrera has joined the Bay Area’s Telemundo 48 as a multimedia journalist.

He is the station’s weekend reporter.

Prior to making the move to California, Cabrera worked as an anchor, reporter and digital producer for Miami online pub Periódico Cubano.

He was previously an MMJ at Univision Orlando and before that, with Univision 65 Philadelphia.

He got his start in the broadcasting in his native Cuba, where he spent over six years as a reporter for several Cuban Institute of Radio and Television shows.

He emigrated to the United States in 2013 to pursue a career in journalism, landing his first job as a reporter at Miami’s WJAN America Tevé in 2015.
