Telemundo 60 names Vladimir Flores weekend anchor

January 6, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Telemundo 60 today announced multimedia journalist Vladimir Flores will be the San Antonio station’s new weekend anchor.

In addition to his current role as a reporter, Flores will anchor the Saturday and Sunday 5 and 10 pm Noticias 60 newscasts.

He starts on the anchor desk on January 8.

He replaces Zalome Briceño, whose last day was December 31. On a Facebook post, she bid farewell to San Antonio, saying she would “embark on a new professional adventure” in 2022, which she would reveal soon.

Flores joined Telemundo 60 in July 2018. He previously worked as a producer and MMJ at Univision KWEX for two years. He began his career in Telemundo Dallas where he was a web/social media producer.
