Univision has chosen Maity Interiano to be co-anchor of the weekend evening edition of its national newscast, “Noticiero Univision.”
She’ll join Félix De Bedout for the Saturday and Sunday shows which air at 6:30 and 11:30 pm ET/PT.
She steps into the position left vacant by Paulina Sodi, who moved to weekday morning show “La Voz de la Mañana” on Univision’s PrendeTV 24-hour news streaming channel in December.
Interiano arrives to the weekend anchor desk on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
Most recently, she had shared morning show co-hosting duties with Sodi on the news streaming channel.
Previously, Interiano has worked as a reporter, correspondent, and host of “Despierta América,” “UNews,” and “Noticiero Univision Edición Digital.” She has also been a Univision correspondent for a variety of events, including “Premios Juventud,” “Premio lo Nuestro,” the “Latin GRAMMY®” awards, “Nuestra Belleza Latina,” The Golden Globe Awards, The Oscars, and the Rose Parade.
