April 7, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Janet Bolívar is moving to Philadelphia to join the Telemundo 62 news team as a weather anchor.

She’ll be working on the station’s weekday newscasts at 5, 6 and 11 pm.

She’ll join anchors Alberto Rullán and Belén Smole, who joined Telemundo 62 last month.

Bolívar starts her new role on Monday, April 18.

She arrives from Telemundo Houston, where she was a weather anchor for more than three years. She previously worked as a weather anchor and MMJ at Telemundo Arizona from 2016 until 2019. Before that, Bolívar spent six years as a reporter for GFR Media in her native Puerto Rico.
