TelevisaUnivision promotes Ignacio Meyer to President of U.S. Networks

September 13, 2022 by Veronica Villafañe

Ignacio “Nacho” Meyer has been promoted to President of U.S. Networks TelevisaUnivision, charged with continuing expansion and transformation of the company’s network portfolio.

He replaces Luis Silberwasser, who left the company in June 2022.

Based in Miami, he will report directly to company CEO Wade Davis.

Meyer, who joined Univision in 2011 as VP of Business Development,  was most recently SVP of Music and led the Non-Scripted Entertainment division at TelevisaUnivision, driving the group’s global strategy. He managed unscripted programming, including primetime music award tentpoles, such as Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud and Latin GRAMMYs, reality shows and specials.

Meyer also led strategic business efforts for the music publishing and sound design team, artist development in the U.S., as well as the talent commercialization and licensing business units.
