Alejandra Falconi tapped to anchor soon to launch Telemundo Reno newscast

Alejandra Falconi has joined Gray Television-owned Telemundo Reno as its first news anchor.

Falconi will be a solo anchor for the station’s 6 pm weekday newscast, which will debut later this month.

She’s currently producing and anchoring news updates for the Telemundo affiliate.

Falconi was most recently a freelance MMJ at Univision San Antonio.

Originally from Ecuador, she previously worked as an MMJ and anchor at KAJA Telemundo Corpus Christi and freelanced as an MMJ and producer at Telemundo Atlanta.

She also spent 6 years as a producer, breaking news anchor, writer and researcher at CNN Español in Atlanta.
