Longtime reporter Rosie Orbach is taking her journalism career in a new direction.
She has joined Univision San Diego as a news producer for the station’s local newscasts.
Orbach left Estrella TV’s, where she was reporter for the network’s national programs and local newscasts over the past 14 years.
From 2018 to 2022 she also freelanced as an L.A. reporter and producer for Hispan TV International, an Iran-based Spanish-language news network.
Orbach previously worked as a a reporter and producer for Azteca América from 2003 to 2008, when the company shut down U.S. news operations.
Before that, she was an anchor and producer for Radio Fórmula.
Orbach got her start in the broadcast industry in her native Mexico, working for TV Azteca.
