MundoNow hires Carlos Moreno as senior executive producer

March 6, 2023 by Veronica Villafañe

MundoNow has hired Carlos Moreno as senior executive producer.

In addition to covering breaking news affecting the Hispanic community, he’ll also spearhead content creation around two platform verticals: MundoMejor, featuring inspirational stories, and MundoPride, an LGBTQ+ bilingual news and culture portal.

He’ll be based in Denver, Colorado.

Moreno rejoins MundoNow’s digital network, having previously worked as a national correspondent for Mundo Hispánico from 2016-2019, the name of the online platform prior to a June 2022 rebrand.

Moreno most recently worked for Entravision as a reporter for Univision Colorado, backup anchor for the Kansas market, and collaborator for Univision Network news programs.

Prior to Mundo Hispánico, he was a multimedia reporter and producer for Telemundo Atlanta.

Moreno previously worked in his native Venezuela as a news reporter for Coquivacoa Television.
