June 22, 2023 by Veronica Villafañe

Entravision has chosen Michael Christenson as its new chief executive officer.

He assumes the position previously held by company founder Walter Ulloa, who died from a heart attack on New Year’s Eve.

Christenson’s appointment is effective July 1, 2023.

He joins Entravision with more than four decades of experience in helping companies navigate industry and technology transformation.

Christenson has previously served as president and chief operating officer of software companies New Relic and CA Technologies, and as an investment banker with Allen & Company and Salomon Brothers, and managing director at Citigroup Global Markets.

He has also served on the board of a number of high-growth public and private technology companies.
