Adhemar Montagne is headed to Telemundo Atlanta to become 6 and 11 pm weekday anchor.
He starts the job February 1, with a yet to be determined on-air debut date.
Montagne was most recently an anchor for failed Americano Media’s TV newscasts.
He previously worked almost 17 years as an anchor at NY1 Noticias.
Before that, he spent three years as an anchor and reporter at Telemundo 47 and another three at Univision 41.
Montagne also worked as a sports anchor at Telemundo 48 in the San Francisco Bay Area and news anchor at Telemundo San Antonio.
