Bianca Ventura named KESQ weekend anchor

January 8, 2024 by Veronica Villafañe

Bianca Ventura has been named weekend evening news anchor for KESQ Newschannel 3, the ABC affiliate in Palm Springs.

She joined KESQ as a reporter in February of 2022, and was promoted eight months later to weekend morning news anchor.

Ventura, who has also been a fill in weather anchor for the station’s various newscasts, stepped into her new role in December.

She started her broadcast journalism career in Sacramento as a news writer for Fox-40 in Sacramento. Ventura also hosted midday radio show “Bianca V” at KSFM-102.5 FM prior to her move to Palm Springs.
