Eduardo Rodríguez joins The Weather Channel en Español

January 10, 2024 by Veronica Villafañe

Meteorologist Eduardo Rodríguez has joined The Weather Channel en Español, providing weather coverage weekdays from 2 to 10 pm ET.

He made his on-air debut at the Atlanta-based streaming network January 2.

This marks a return of sorts for Rodríguez, who previously worked five years for The Weather Channel’s satellite TV network Canal del Tiempo, prior to its 2002 shutdown.

He most recently spent 20 years as chief meteorologist at Univision 23 in Miami, also contributing to Univision’s network news programs. Before that, he did stints at several Univision stations, including in Philadelphia and Atlanta over the course of 10 years.

Rodríguez began working as a meteorologist in his native Cuba.
