Johali Carmona has been promoted from executive producer to news director at Telemundo Las Vegas.
The appointment is effective immediately.
She had been overseeing the newsroom since Marialcy Carreño’s departure in January.
Carmona has worked as EP at the Las Vegas station since February 2023 and previously from 2019 to 2022. She spent the gap year as EP at Telemundo Colorado.
Her past experience includes news producer roles at KLBR and producer for ESPN Radio La Voz de Nevada.
She began her broadcast career as a producer at a radio station in Venezuela, before moving to TeleSUR in Caracas.
