Estephany Haro named assistant news director at KSTS 48

March 27, 2024 by Veronica Villafañe

Estephany Haro is jumping ship from Univision’s Bay Area station to join rival KSTS-48 as assistant news director.

She starts the new job April 8.

Haro will report to recently appointed Telemundo 48 news director Sandra Pérez and Stephanie Adrouny, VP of News for NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48.

Haro will help manage daily news operations, including sports, weather, and breaking news for Telemundo’s Bay Area station, collaborating with Adrouny and Pérez to guide editorial content.

A San Jose native, she joined Univision KDTV 14 in 2016 as an assignment desk editor after graduating from college. Over the past eight years, she worked in various roles with increasing responsibilities, moving up from producer to executive producer.

Haro was named assistant news director at Univision 14 in 2022.
