After a break from the TV industry, Raúl Rodríguez has joined Entravision as SVP of the company’s Reno, NV stations.
A sales executive with more than three decades in the business, Rodríguez previously spent 11 years as VP and General Manager of KDTV-14, Univision’s O&O in San Francisco.
He was among two dozen local media general managers and sales execs laid off in 2022, after the TelevisaUnivision merger.
Prior to Univision, Rodríguez was GM and VP of Journal Communications’ Palm Springs stations KMIR-TV and KPSE-TV.
He was previously director of Hispanic Sales for News-Press & Gazette,
Rodríguez’s past experience includes various roles at Telemundo Los Angeles and San Jose, including general sales manager, and VP and GM of KWHY-22 from 2007 to 2010.
