Jimenez out at CBS2

January 12, 2010 by Veronica Villafañe

Vera Jimenez’s last day at CBS 2 in Los Angeles was last Friday. Vera, an early morning traffic reporter, also filled-in as a weather and entertainment/features reporter. She joined the station in 2002. Before that, she worked two years at KABC-7 as a traffic reporter.

A source tells me she will soon pop up at KTLA as an afternoon traffic reporter.

We like her and have missed her. I thought perhaps because she is so beautiful she might have joined Fox. Hope not, but wish her luck.

I wandered what had happened to Vera, after not seeing her on CBS2morning news. Thought she was on vacation. After no return, I finally decided to google her name. I had a feeling she had been moved to KTLA. Miss you Vera.

Not to be mean but when I have to wake up early and listen to her rattling traffic so fast, I get so stressed out. Afternoon will be a good time for her.

Yes, we just came back from a long vacation and wondered what had happened to Vera. She was a big asset to the network and we all miss her!! Guess we'll be tuning to KTLA again. Good luck, Vera
