November 29, 2010 by Veronica Villafañe

Luis Clemens begins a new job at NPR. Starting this week, he will be the company’s first Senior Editor for Diversity. According to NPR, in this role, he will work to continue to “build a solid foundation of diverse experts for interviews and sources for stories.”

Luis has been an editor for NPR’s one-hour daily weekday talk show, Tell Me More for the past 2 years. He was previously editor of the short-lived online publications Lapolitica.com and Candidatousa.com. He has also worked at the Telemundo and NBC O&Os in Miami and for CNN en Español in Atlanta.
