July 7, 2011 by Veronica Villafañe

Satcha Pretto and Félix De Bedout

Starting July 18, 2011, Satcha Pretto and Félix De Bedout will be sharing the “Despierta América” news anchor desk, as the newest additions to Univision’s morning show team.  They join Alfonso “Poncho” de Anda, Chiquinquirá Delgado, Ana Patricia González, Raúl González and Karla Martínez Monday through Friday at 7-10 am ET.

Satcha was most recently host of Univision’s weekend newsmagazine “Primer Impacto Extra” and contributing reporter to “Primer Impacto” and “Noticiero Univision.”

Before joining Univision Félix was a journalist for Colombia’s La W Radio (Radio Caracol), where he was a radio host and member of the station’s news desk in Bogotá.  He has previously worked as host and producer for Caracol TV and NTC Noticias

Here we go… Mr. Issac Lee did not waste any time promoting undeserving fellow Colombians to positions of relevance at Univision, “It’s his prerogative” you might say.. ask what all the Univision veterans (who have been waiting for an opportunity) think about Mr. De Bedout’s arrival.
