November 10, 2011 by Veronica Villafañe

Mike Barajas returns to the airwaves next week.

He’s part of a team that will help launch all-news station KROI (92.1 FM) in Houston.

News 92 FM is scheduled to launch the week of Nov. 14.

Mike left KRIV-26, the Fox O&O in Houston in January.

Other Latino staff members will include former KIAH-39 sports director Jorge Vargas and former KLOL (101.1 FM) newscaster Martha Martinez.
