Krauze gets start date on KMEX

December 23, 2011 by Veronica Villafañe

León Krauze makes his U.S. debut as anchor of KMEX’s weeknight newscasts on Monday, December 26. He replaces Raúl Peimbert, who signed off from the job on Friday, December 16.

León joins Univision from Televisa.  He was most recently anchor of the nightly newscast “Hora 21” for Televisa’s Foro TV,  a 24-hr news network launched in 2010 in Mexico City.  He was also host of “Segunda Emisión,” a radio magazine program on W Radio and a weekly columnist for the Mexican newspaper Milenio.

The anchor switch was announced back in October.

You can check out a Univision introductory interview of him here.
