Rodríguez promoted again at SBS

May 15, 2012 by Veronica Villafañe

Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., (SBS) has promoted Albert Rodríguez to Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective immediately.

He’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of SBS and continue to oversee the revenue and profit performance of the company’s consolidated operations, including radio, television, interactive and entertainment divisions.

This is Albert’s third promotion in a little over two years. In January of 2011, he was named Chief Revenue Officer of SBS’s consolidated operations.  That role was in addition to his job as General Manager of the Miami television market, a promotion that took place in February of 2010.

Albert was previously General Sales Manager for SBS Radio in Miami for more than 10 years.  Before that, he worked at the Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Chicago Tribune and Exito.
