Javier Cosme, who has been doing double duty as News Director of Univision’s WLII-TV and WKAQ 580 AM in Puerto Rico for two and a half years, has resigned to his television role in order to focus on radio.

Javier has assumed a new position as Content Director for WKAQ 580 for Univision Radio.  In his new role, he’ll be in charge of developing digital platforms for the radio station.

His departure from the TV station paved the way for a promotion for Roberto Vizcón on his first day on the job.

Roberto, whose first day at WLII-TV, channel 11 is today, was initially named Assistant News Director for the Puerto Rico station.

He now takes over as News Director, reporting to VP and Station Manager Malule González.
