André J. Fernández, President of Journal Communications, has also been named Chief Operating Officer of the company.
In his expanded role, he will now assume operational oversight of the company’s Publishing and Broadcast segments, as well as additional corporate responsibilities, including Corporate Human Resources.
Elizabeth Brenner, President and Publisher of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and EVP of Journal Communications, will now report to Fernández.
Debbie Turner, EVP of Television, and Steve Wexler, EVP of Radio, will continue reporting to Fernández.
Fernández has been President of Journal Communications since 2012. Prior to joining the company in 2008, he was Sr VP and CFO of Telemundo.
