Adrian Carrasquillo

Carrasquillo named Buzzfeed Editor of Latino Coverage

March 20, 2014 by Veronica Villafañe

Adrian_Carrasquillo2014 copyAdrian Carrasquillo, who joined BuzzFeed as a breaking news reporter less than a year ago, has been promoted to the newly created position of Editor of Latino Coverage for the social news and entertainment website.

There are currently no more details about his promotion or the new role, which Adrian gushed about on his Facebook page:

“I’m so lucky to be surrounded by bosses that get it, and a company culture that values diversity, not in some pander-y, token way, but in a really thoughtful, impactful way. I take this really seriously and am committed to elevating stories that should be told on a powerful platform like BuzzFeed and I can’t wait until I can share more.”

Prior to taking on a job at Buzzfeed in May of 2013, Adrian spent almost two years at the now defunct NBCLatino.com.
