Meléndez, Lyke promoted to EVPs at Entravision

Entravision today announced it has promoted two executives to the position of Executive Vice President, effective immediately.

Eddie Meléndez has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Western Region. He’ll be responsible for overseeing the TV, radio and digital sales operations for all of Entravision’s eight California markets including: San Diego, El Centro, Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Monterey-Salinas, Sacramento, Stockton and Santa Barbara.

Meléndez was previously promoted to EVP of Integrated Marketing Solutions, National in February of 2013. He has been with Entravision since 2002, first as VP of Business Development, moving on to SVP, National Broadcast Sales from 2006 until 2013. Before that, he worked as Director of Sales for Telemundo’s KVEA-52.

James Lyke has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Integrated Marketing Solutions, National, overseeing all national revenue for television, radio spot and national digital sales. His responsibilities will include overseeing national sales for 58 TV and 49 radio stations. He’ll also manage the company’s New Business Development team.

He joined Entravision as VP, Network and Spot Sales in Chicago in April of 2013. He previously worked as Director of Sales for Cumulus Media Networks in Chicago.

Meléndez and Lyke will report to Mario M. Carrera, Entravision’s Chief Revenue Officer.
