Llamas debuts at ABC News

Tom Llamas, who left WNBC-TV in August, made his debut last week as a correspondent and anchor for ABC News, based in New York.

He had his on-air start last Thursday, September 25 reporting for “Good Morning America” and has also been on set for “World News Tonight.”

Before the move to ABC News, Tom had been co-anchor of WNBC’s 5 pm newscast since September of 2011, promoted two years after taking a job as general assignment reporter at the station.

Prior to WNBC, he was a reporter for WTVJ, the NBC O&O in Miami.

He previously worked for MSNBC as a political campaign reporter.
