WLTV inaugurates new set in Newsport

January 30, 2015 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision’s WLTV has finalized the move of its local news operations to Newsport, the brand new television production facility that houses all of the network’s news shows and cabler Fusion.

Noticias 23 debuted its new look and set on Thursday, starting with their 6 pm show.

Noticias 23 Al Amanecer followed suit the following morning at 5 am.*

Now, the local newscasts will have access to all of the news resources and technology available for the network’s shows.

The new set was designed by Colombian firm Pulso Design.

Noticias 23 staffers tweeted photos of their new home throughout the day with the hashtag #NuestraNuevaCasa.

* An earlier version of this story mistakenly stated that the 5 am newscast was first to debut on the new set.

Actually, the new set debuted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday night. They were still at the old building in Doral on Thursday morning’s show from 5:00-8:00 a.m.

    ¡Congratulations!
