March 15, 2015 by Veronica Villafañe

Maxi PagliaFive months after massive layoffs and the shutdown of its news department, Univision Puerto Rico says it will continue to work on new prime time local productions.

In order to fulfill this goal, the company has hired Maxi Paglia as Senior Content Director.

In this new role, he will be responsible for setting the local programming content strategy according to market needs and trends, working closely with Local Programming, Operations and Continuity director Ilia Arroyo.

Before joining Univision Puerto Rico, Paglia worked as VP of Production at SBS Puerto Rico.

His past experience includes stints at WAPA and Teleonce (now Univision). He was general producer for programs such as “Lo Sé Todo,” “SuperXclusivo,” “Anda Pa’l Cará,” “Qué Suerte con Héctor Marcano” and “El Súper Show con Héctor Marcano.”

Esto es un chiste. An ugly one.
They just shut the “bread and butter” of any station, then now, braggin’ about some new hiring ?
Either way, we all know it: here in the Isla, nobody watch Univision.
    That is old news.
