Entravision’s Pulpo promotes Padilla to SVP

Oscar PadillaOscar Padilla has been promoted to SVP of Marketing, Digital Media & Insights at Pulpo, a business unit of Entravision Communications. He’ll report directly to Franklin Rios, Entravision’s EVP, Digital.

He succeeds María Lopez-Knowles, who was recently promoted to Chief Marketing Officer of Entravision.

Padilla was previously VP of Strategy for Entravision’s Luminar Insights, a big data analytics provider focused on U.S. Latino consumers.

Padilla joined Entravision in April 2012 as part of the management team that led the formation of Luminar. He was previously Senior Director of Interactive Strategy for Vertis Communications, Inc., where he led the online division, including strategic services, website development, social media, mobile marketing and all aspects of daily division operations for nearly 5 years.

Prior to that, Padilla was Managing Director at Mindshare Interactive Campaigns.
