NBC Universo continues tapping into its parent company’s programming library. The former mun2 cable network has added cult classic “Battlestar Galactica” to its Wednesday primetime lineup.
This is the first time the sci-fi series airs in Spanish in the U.S. One of Syfy’s highest-rated series, the show will now air on NBC Universo on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET/PT.
Episodes of the show will also be available on VOD and on nbcuniverso.com.
Earlier this month, NBC Universo began airing Spanish-language dubbed versions of popular NBC shows “Law and Order,” “Law and Order: Los Angeles” and USA hit “Suits.”
At the time, Programming SVP Bilai Joa Silar told Media Moves turning to NBC properties was “a no brainer” to build NBC Universo’s programming grid, and said her strategy focused on building the network’s primetime lineup “one night at a time.”
