Rambaldi hired as reporter for WOAI/KABB

January 25, 2016 by Veronica Villafañe

Camilla RambaldiCamilla Rambaldi has jumped over 170 markets to land in San Antonio. She started a new job as a weeknight general assignment reporter for Sinclair duopoly WOAI/KABB.

“I never imagined I would make a jump like this as fast as I did,” Camilla tells Media Moves. “I am beyond thrilled for the opportunity and ready to get my feet wet.”

Camilla’s first day at the San Antonio stations was Monday, January 18. She was previously at KTVH, the NBC affiliate in Helena, Montana, where she started her career in TV news after graduating from CSUN in 2014.

During her two years at KTVH, she held multiple roles as a Multimedia Journalist. She shot, reporter and edited stories, anchored the 5, 6 and 10 pm weekday newscasts, produced the 6 and 10 pm shows, and published her stories online.

“I am so grateful to be able to work and live in such a beautiful city like San Antonio. I am excited to get to know a whole new culture and community,” she says.

An L.A. native, Camilla got her first glimpse of news as an Assignment Desk Intern at ABC7, while attending Cal State Northridge.
