Díaz named Managing Editor, Digital at SF Chronicle

Fernando DiazFernando Díaz is leaving the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR), where he has been Senior Editor since 2014.

His last day at the non-profit news organization is February 3.

Díaz is moving over to the San Francisco Chronicle.

He starts a new position as Managing Editor, Digital on February 13.

Before CIR, he was Managing Editor of Spanish-language Hoy Chicago and online pub vivelohoy.com.

He previously worked at The Chicago Reporter, The Daily Herald and Democrat & Chronicle in Rochester, NY.
