Univision Sacramento hires Calderón as Director of Community Empowerment

Roxana CalderonRoxana Calderón has been named KUVS 19 Univision Sacramento’s Director of Community Empowerment.

She’ll be leading efforts to develop and foster partnerships with local community organizations and execute the company’s community empowerment platform Univision Contigo in the Sacramento Valley area.

Prior to joining the station, Calderón worked at the non-profit Opening Doors since 2006 where she was the Event Coordinator Manager and managed the Hispanic Prosperity Program.

She was previously a Business Development Associate at the Sacramento Credit Union.
