Unimás is launching a new show in San Antonio and adding it to the programming lineup of most of its stations nationwide.

“Cuéntame Más,” hosted by radio DJ Jesse Lechuga and KWEX 41 TV host and reporter Carolina Vela, debuts tomorrow, August 18 and will air Fridays on UniMás from 5 to 6 pm ET/P (4 pm CT) across the country, except in Miami and New York.

The show will feature music, pop culture, variety and celebrity interviews, as well as segments of local shows from Univision affiliates.

Earlier this week, Univision announced the launch of morning entertainment program “El News Café,” which will debut next Monday, August 21 on WAMI UniMás 69. That show will only air in Miami.

“The addition of these new programs is the natural evolution of the integration of our local radio and television properties,” says Chris Peña, Univision SVP of Local News.
