Univision and Telemundo telethons to raise funds for Mexico and Puerto Rico disaster victims

September 22, 2017 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision - Telemundo telethonsUnivision and Telemundo will be producing live coast-to-coast specials this weekend in an effort to raise disaster relief funds for the victims of the deadly Mexico earthquake and Hurricane Maria, which has devastated Puerto Rico.

Both networks are using a message of unity for their telethons.

Univision’s “Unidos por los Nuestros” airs tomorrow Saturday and Telemundo’s “Todos Unidos” follows suit on Sunday, September 24.

All money raised will go the Red Cross to specifically benefit those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the earthquake in Mexico, as well as communities impacted in Texas and Florida.

Unidos??? Embarrassing that all Spanish networks could not get-together and show true unity for raising funds like English networks recently did for hurricane Harvey.

    And why is that ?
    Pretty simple.
Coz they care more about their shallow lifestyle either in Brickell, The Grove or Coral Gables.
Coz is better to look pretty on TV, drooling egos or horseplaying with fake postures.
Coz that is the nature of this business nowadays: too much branding, not enough brain.

I got reprimanded by my wife when i tuned univision…
