Univision adds Borja Voces as co-anchor of “Edición Digital”

June 5, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision’s “Primer Impacto” correspondent Borja Voces is expanding his duties at the network.

Starting today, he is co-anchor of “Noticiero Univision Edición Digital” with Carolina Sarassa, which is simulcast live on the Univision Network, UnivisionNoticias.com, Facebook Live, YouTube, and Periscope weekdays at 12 pm ET/PT.

He replaces Javier Olivares, who was ousted from his role last month, less than two years since the launch of the digital newscast.

Voces started at Univision in 2011 as an entertainment correspondent in Spain, appearing on “Despierta América” and other network programs. He moved to Miami in 2014 to join “Primer Impacto,” where he has hosted the daily segment “Secreto a Voces” over the past four years.

Prior to working for Univision, Voces hosted various shows on Spain’s Antena3 and TVE.

??? La misma gata pero revolcada como dice un dicho mexicano. Nenes “haciendo noticias”. El peor invento de Univision ha sido este vaina digital y sus “nenes” conductores con telefono celular. Que pena!
