Armendáriz returns to Univision Dallas

July 17, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Angelina Armendáriz has left Telemundo 40 in the Rio Grande Valle to return home to Dallas, where she is starting a new position as a multimedia journalist for Univision 23.

She’ll be reporting weekdays for the station’s “Primera Edición” and 5 pm newscasts.

Her first day in the new job was yesterday. She’s currently onboarding and will make her on-air debut later this month.

This marks her return to Univision 23, where the Dallas native worked as assignment editor from 2014 to 2015. During that time, she was also a reporter and videographer for semi-professional soccer team Dallas City FC.

Armendáriz joined Telemundo McAllen in February 2015 as an assignment editor, before landing her first on-air television reporting job as an MMJ at the station months later.
