ABC’s “The View” adds Ana Navarro as weekly co-host

November 5, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

Republican strategist and political commentator Ana Navarro has joined ABC’s The View as a weekly co-host for Season 22.

Her first official day on the job was the same day of the on-air announcement: Friday, November 2.

She had previously appeared on the show as guest host.

During its more than 20-year run on the air, “The View” had not done enough to include a regular Latina host on the show.

ABC hired Rosie Perez as their first full-time Latina co-host in 2015, but she lasted less than a year on the show.

Before that, the network previously invited only handful of mostly one-day Latina guest-hosts, including Alicia Menéndez, Ana Belaval and Nely Galán.

Check out more details on Forbes.

Republican ? what a joke. Then I’m from Mars !
Those “gringo” TV executives can be so naïve !
If just that Biltmore Hotel could talk..

Coral, they’re Not naive, they got what they want. In ‘their world’, Navarro is what a Republican should be, someone that uses the same nasty tactics and hatred speech as the left. If a real conservative would say half or even a quarter of the bad stuff this ‘lady’ says but to attack the left, she would’ve been out of a job long time ago.

I couldn’t have said it in a better way.
