Antonio Rodriguez

Rodríguez promoted to weekend anchor at Telemundo 40

March 28, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

KTLM Telemundo 40 has named Antonio Rodríguez weekend anchor. His promotion comes barely seven months since joining the Rio Grande station.

He’ll be anchoring the 5 and 10 pm weekend editions of Noticias Telemundo 40 starting March 30, 2019. He’ll also be reporting three days a week.

He replaces Hugo Magallán, who exited the station last August.

Prior to joining Telemundo 40 as a video journalist in August 2018, Rodríguez was a reporter for the Telemundo Las Vegas Responde consumer protection unit. Before that, he worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at the station.

He previously worked as a news anchor and reporter for KNVO Univision 48 from 2010 to 2014.
