Stephanie Himonidis moves to Telemundo network as “Un Nuevo Día” co-host

March 4, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Stephanie Himonidis, AKA “Chiquibaby,” is leaving Los Angeles to join Telemundo network in Miami as a co-host of “Un Nuevo Día.”

Himonidis, who has been a guest co-host on the network morning show, makes the move permanent starting Monday, March 18.

The TV and radio personality is currently the co-host of KVEA Telemundo 52’s “Acceso Total,” a weekday morning entertainment news and lifestyle program.

She has also participated in 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia coverage for “Un Nuevo Día,” as well as filled in as guest co-host for “Suelta la Sopa,” the network’s daytime entertainment news and gossip show.

Himonidis is the host and executive producer of syndicated radio program “El Show de la Chiquibaby,” which broadcasts nationwide in more than 50 U.S. markets.

Himonidis began her career at 19 in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she started as an on-air personality at radio station Súper Stereo.

Since her arrival to the U.S. in 2001, she has worked in multiple radio and television stations in Fresno, San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

She was also an L.A.-based host for Univision’s “Despierta América” from 2011 to 2014, when she joined Telemundo as a judge of the Sunday night reality competition show “Yo Soy El Artista.” She went on to work at KVEA’s “Acceso Total” in early 2015.

Bleh!
