Valezka Gil - Telemundo 31 Responde

Valezka Gil to lead Telemundo Orlando’s new investigative unit

April 17, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Telemundo 31 has tapped reporter Valezka Gil to lead the Orlando station’s new consumer investigative unit.

Gil will produce consumer reports for “Telemundo 31 Responde.” The segments will air every Thursday.

The stories will then be available on Telemundo31.com and on the station’s mobile app, where viewers can send tips to the consumer team.

A native of Venezuela, Gil has worked at Telemundo 31 for the past six years as producer and reporter.

The first “Telemundo 31 Responde” report was broadcast last Thursday, April 11.

Telemundo 31 joins NBC and Telemundo owned stations in 18 markets that feature their own local “NBC Responds/Telemundo Responde” units.

This girl was also an anchor before NBC took over. She was unfairly taken away from the desk. She’s the most hard-working and prepared journalist in that newsroom. I’m glad to see NBC is giving her back the place she deserves!
