González lands at Telemundo 20 San Diego

May 21, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Mar González has left Las Vegas to start a new job as a multimedia journalist at Telemundo 20 San Diego.

She currently covers breaking news, immigration, politics and border issues for the station’s 5, 5:30 and 6 pm weekday newscasts.

Prior to her move to California, González was freelancing for KSNV, the NBC affiliate in Las Vegas. She previously worked as an MMJ at the Univision affiliate in Las Vegas.

Born and raised in El Paso, where she interned at KVIA, Univision and Telemundo, she landed her first full-time broadcast job as an MMJ for the now defunct MundoFox in Las Vegas.
