Wendy Cruz

Cruz returns to Univision Dallas

July 24, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Wendy Cruz is back at Univision 23 in Dallas. The former anchor is now an in-studio reporter for the station’s 5 pm newscast.

Her first day at the KUVN newsroom was July 19.

Cruz left her anchor job at Univision Dallas in December 2015 ago to become a full-time mom to her then 2 year-old son.

At the time of her departure, she was co-anchoring the 5 pm newscast and reporting for the 10 pm show.

Prior to joining Univision in 2007, she spent 7 years as an anchor/reporter for Teletica Channel 7 in her native Costa Rica.
